(Vol #4) Following C&NW's Shore and Valley Lines CD

(Vol #4) Following C&NW\'s Shore and Valley Lines CD
CD-Rom photographed and produced by Verne Brummel This title provides a sight-seeing tour of the Shore Line and Valley Line right-of-way, plus the "paper mill branch" that ran between Kaukauna and Appleton. Coverage includes many depots, station signs, semaphores (about 90% of all signals), Green Bay's "Broadway Tower", signal bridges, train yards, junctions, yard office buildings, and noteworthy railroad bridges along the way.
598 slide images on the CD are vintage early 1970's to early 1980's, shifting back and forth between decades to show differences in depot structures, and motive power on hand in the train yards. Numerous roster shots are featured on this CD of Alco, Baldwin, and Fairbanks-Morse units which called this part of the C&NW "home", and other C&NW motive power in a number of train yards. Trains meandering along the various rail lines are also shown as they pass by a number of stations.
